Terms
These terms cover your use of Destroy Any Desktop (“the app”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t install it.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. The free version can be used without limit. A Pro or Legend key unlocks paid features on up to 3 Macs at a time.
You may not resell or redistribute the app or your key, or reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows.
2. What the app does
The app takes a screenshot of your screen and turns it into a game level. It never changes, closes or deletes your real windows, apps or files. Press Esc or ⌥⇧F to leave the game at any time.
3. Your clips
Clips you export are yours. They can show whatever was on your screen, so check them before you post. Free clips carry a small watermark; Pro can remove it.
4. Purchases and refunds
Pro and Legend are one-time purchases sold through Polar, our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and receipts. You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, using the link in your key email. Refunded keys stop working. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Bonus items tied to a date, such as the Founder skin for Pro bought before November 2, 2026, are granted based on the order date recorded by Polar.
5. Updates
The app checks for updates and can install them after you confirm. We may add, change or remove features. Things you paid for stay yours: we won’t take away a paid feature without offering a refund.
6. Privacy
See the privacy page for what the app collects and when.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it stable, but we can’t promise it will run without bugs on every Mac.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
